Dynamic Dining at Royal Caribbean

As always Royal Caribbean takes the lead when it comes to cruising. And on Quantum of the Seas Royal Caribbean has done just that where dining is concerned, by introducing Dynamic Dining. This is dining with a difference, where there are no set times to dine, no fuddy-duddy formal nights – just do as you please flexi times and so many more options. 18 of them to be precise.

So what’s the difference between Dynamic Dining and traditional dining you may ask? Well at Royal Caribbean they have been quick to note that guests like flexibility when it comes to dining, and they want variety, so Quantum of the Seas as well as Anthem of the Seas will cater to that and the main dining room will be replaced by five new venues that serve unique cuisine and so you can have a choice of different menus every meal, and for those who still subscribe to the ‘formal’ dinners, that too will be available at the Grande every night! So the guest is really in charge of what he wants to eat, with whom and what he wants to eat.

On the House

With 5 full service restaurants where guests can dine on complimentary meals there is a lot of choice.

Chic — this is where one will find contemporary cuisine at its best. With the freshest of ingredients being used and sauces and dips made from scratch (never from a bottle!), one might almost forget one is dining at sea.

Sesame crusted tuna, Vietnamese pho chicken, crispy samosas from Indian shores, Thai fried chicken wings – the menu will take you down the Spice Route for sure!

Coastal Kitchen — for an exclusive meal, suite guests can a fusion gourmet meal of California and the Mediterranean region. From Sea Bass Ceviche Seared Scallops and a classic grilled Filet Mignon accompanied with the best of Californian wines, this is a gastronomic journey worth exploring.

The Grande — for those who still believe that a cruise should include formal dining every night, the Garnde caters to them. Reminiscent of a bygone era where the décor matches the menu, where classics like Sole Almondine and Chicken a l’Orange find their place on the menu card, the Grande is every bit as grand as its name, in the opulence of the setting and where your meal is a blast from the past with its timeless dishes.
