A first, the RipCord by iFly, is a skydiving experience at sea that allows all levels of flyers from first-time novices to seasoned skydivers to enjoy the pure thrill and exhilaration of skydiving in a safe, controlled, and simulated environment. RipCord is the first skydiving experience at sea and it allows everyone from first-time flyers to seasoned skydivers to enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of skydiving in a safe, controlled and simulated environment. The sensation of flying takes place inside a 23-foot tall glass flight chamber so guests will have stunning ocean views as well. It is surrounded by a viewing platform for friends, family and other spectators. And this experience is complimentary for all guests, only criteria being that guests have to be above three years of age and in good health.
Get transported more than 300 ft in the air while at seas. North Star, an engineering marvel, takes guests to new heights in a glass capsule. Float above the ocean to get awesome 360-degree views of the ship and sea below. The North Star capsule will accommodate 13 guests, plus there will be room to accommodate a wheelchair passenger as well. North Star will be complimentary and available for guests at sea.
Two70°is a multi-level great room that is set to become one of the most talked about venues on board the Quantum class ships. With huge, floor-to-ceiling glass walls spanning almost three decks, Two70° seamlessly combine entertainment and cutting edge technology. During the day, Two70° provides a modern and comfortable living room space for guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the sea view. And as evening falls, it will transform itself to be a stunning venue for spectacular entertainment for the guests at night. Every show at Two70° will be multidimensional and promises to engage the audience through a combination of live performers, including aerialists, as well as breathtaking video and digital scenery.
SeaPlex is a distinctive sporting and entertainment venue with thrilling new features that will inspire guests of all ages to let loose and connect with their playful sides. Guests can experiment by flying trapeze, or playing basketball. Or try the first-ever bumper car and roller skating offerings that promise to be fun and full of excitement. There will be four SeaPods with themes and features such as table tennis, foosball, air hockey, video gaming, simulation, and other interactive games. The SeaPods will have floor to ceiling windows, extend over the side of the ship, and offer expansive breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding destinations when near ports.
Listen to live music on the Quantum class ships at the Music Hall, a venue where guests can enjoy live performances, DJs, theme night parties, billiards and more. The Music Hall’s two-story design is inspired by the spirit of rock and roll. So, go shake a leg!
Royal Caribbean has always laid stress on the comfort of its guests and so it has conceived the most spacious and luxurious accommodations ever. The rooms are larger, more comfortable and the contemporary designs are sophisticated. On Quantum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean introduces more categories of staterooms, including new Studio staterooms, some with balconies for single travelers, three Junior Suite categories and larger Loft Suites.
The best part is that every stateroom on Quantum of the Seas has a view! The new addition is the exciting Virtual Balcony stateroom whereby the design concept brings virtual balconies to interior staterooms offering real-time ocean views!
The Quantum class will debut in fall 2014 with Quantum of the Seas, followed by her sister-ship Anthem of the Seas in spring 2015. Quantum ships span 16 decks, encompass 167,800 gross registered tons, carry 4,180 guests at double occupancy and feature 2,090 staterooms. Bookings will be available to Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program members starting May 27, 2013 before opening to the general public on June 4, 2013.
