No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be reserved in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty one (21) years of age, or older, for all sailings barring Asia cruises where the limit is (18) years, in effect till March 2011.This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Adults who are not the parents or legal guardians of a minor child travelling with them are required to present the child's valid passport and visa and an original, notarized letter signed by at least one of the child's parents. The notarized letter from the child's parents must authorize the travelling adult to take the child on the specific cruise and must authorize the travelling adult to supervise the child and permit any emergency medical treatment that must be administered to the child. The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages is lowered from 21 to 18 years old for Asia cruises till March 2011. Infants Policy: Infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise / cruisetour. What are the passport and visa requirements for my cruise?
| It is the guest’s sole responsibility to make sure all travel documentation is on order prior to boarding the ship. Valid passport, appropriate valid visa and inoculation documents are required. Regarding visas, please check with the embassy/consulate in your country of residence or country of origin whichever is applicable and make sure you have the required visas for all the countries you will be visiting while on the cruise. Proper visa documentation is the sole responsibility of the guest. If the travel documentation is not in order you will be denied boarding and no refunds will be given. For visa information, click into the link Visa Guidelines. On boarding, the passports of all passengers will be held by the Pursers Office for purposes of Immigration and Customs and be returned to passengers only on disembarkation at the end of the cruise. |
What are the different types of accommodation available on board?
There are normally four types of cabins on board ships:
All the cabins are very comfortable and well furnished, equipped with television, private bath and shower and hair dryer. Depending on the type of cabin booked you may also get bathrobes and a mini bar in your cabin. Most of the ships also have safety deposit boxes in the cabins.
|
I am travelling alone. Are there any special prices for a single person in a cabin?
| All rates are based on double occupancy in cabin. However if you are travelling alone and wish to have the cabin to yourself, you will have to pay 200% of the category rate. |
How do I pay for onboard purchases?
| Most ships have a 'cashless' system by which they operate. On boarding the ship you will be issued a Sea Pass or boarding pass which will act as the key to your cabin as well as be used to make all onboard purchases. In short it will be your identity on board. A tab is kept of all accounts you may run up and on the night before or morning of disembarkation you are presented with the bill (if any), which you will have to clear through your credit card, debit card or cash. All billing is in USD and payment must be mad in the same currency by cash, traveler checks or charged to your credit/debit card. |
What are shore excursions and how do I book them?

They are conducted by experienced tour guides that will provide a local flavor to the tour you undertake.
